The young Bulgarian mezzo-soprano Svetlina Stoyanova will make her debut at Wiener Staatsoper

Svetlina Stoyanova is a Bulgarian mezzo-soprano, graduating from the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, United Kingdom in July 2018, under the tutelage of Clare Shearer. 

She is young, beautiful and very talented, and she already sang Cherubino in Le nozze di Figaro at Opera de Nice Cote d'Azur & Anthea Theatre in France; Nerone in Agrippina at The New Athenaeum Theatre - Glasgow, Scotland; Veronique in  Le docteur Miracle (Fox Opera); Mother in Mavra (Alexander Gibson Opera Studio).

Svetlina Stoyanova has also performed in part Octavian, Der Rosenkavalier; Man Friday, Robinson Crusoe; Rosina, Il barbiere di Siviglia; Dorabella, Così fan tutte; Annio, La clemenza di Tito; Lucretia, The Rape Of Lucretia; Frau Reich, Die Lustigen Weiber von Windsor; Juno, Semele and others
She appears regularly at concerts, singing works by Vivaldi, Haydn and Mozart. 


The Bulgarian mezzo-soprano has enjoyed success in numerous music competitions:  
2017, First Prize, International Singing Competition NEUE STIMMEN, Germany;
2017, Second Prize, Ye Cronies Opera Competition, United Kingdom;
2016, Third Prize, Le Grand Prix Opera, Romania;
2016, First Prize, Elgar Spedding Memorial Prize, United Kingdom.

 
In August 2018 she performed as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia at Bregenzer Festspiele, Austria.

In Season 2018/2019 Svetlina Stoyanova will make her debut at Wiener Staatsoper:
- 07, 10, 13 September 2018 - Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos - Wiener Staatsoper, Austria;
- 12, 15, 18 October 2018 - Cherubino in  Le Nozze di Figaro - Wiener Staatsoper, Austria.
