On June 29 Sonya Yoncheva will make her role debut as Imogene in a new staging of Il pirata at the Teatro alla Scala. The opera hasn't been performed at La Scala for 60 years and was given for the last time in a legendary 1958 production starring Maria Callas and Franco Corelli. Performances: 29 June & 3, 6, 9, 12, 17 July 2018
