In August Sonya Yoncheva stars in the title role of Monteverdi's L'incoronazione Poppea
at the Salzburg Festival conducted by William Christie. Performances of
this new production by Jan Lauwers take place on August 12, 15, 18, 20,
22 & 28 and mark Sonya's return to Salzburg following her acclaimed
festival debut in 2017. On August 18 Radio ORF Ö1 will broadcast a
recording of the premiere.
